The first book in a new series, it features a new ‘sleuth’ named Thea Osborne. Thea is a house sitter, moving around the Cotswold area accompanied by her adorable cocker spaniel Hepzibah. In this first book, she’s in Duntisbourne Abbots. I’ve named real places, down to actual pubs - but have invented the farms, individual houses and characters. Let it be noted that I’ve never actually spoken to anybody resident in that village, so any resemblances are the product of the reader’s imagination!

   General reaction has been very positive, and the second in the series - A COTSWOLD ORDEAL - is currently (early 2006) available in hardback. The paperback is scheduled for the autumn.

   DEATH IN THE COTSWOLDS appears in October - a dark story featuring pagans, Freemasons and knitting. It's set in Cold Aston.

On the stocks after that is LOST IN THE COTSWOLDS, set in Blockley, but also exploring the lost medieval villages nearby, and the unusual converted silk mills in the village.
